COURSE OBJECTIVE

Upon successful completion of this one day course, delegates will understand: 

• Basic concepts in Rigging, Slinging, lifting and being a banks man
• Safe way of handling crane rigging
• Hazards associated with rigging and using slings / cranes while at work
• Accidents involving cranes / failures of crane rigging and rigging hardware
• This one day course is designed for workers who has basic work tasks of rigging and use of slings
• .Workers and their supervisors need to be aware of the correct procedures, avoiding shortcuts while lifting activity.
• The course is highly interactive with group discussions & exercises and will enable delegates to build on existing skills.
• Emphasis is placed on practical application of assessment knowledge and skills.
