Working at Heights Training - 1 Day Course
This course addresses the issues relating to working at heights to ensure participants understand:
- Requirements and procedures that are governed by the local legislation
- How to ensure that they and everybody that may be affected by working at heights operations are not subjected to an unacceptable level of risk.
- The course is ideal for construction workers, contractors and any others who are required to perform duties associated with heights and elevated situations.
- This one day course is designed for all levels including the management and those responsible for implementation of the working at height procedure in the organisation.
- Identify work at height requirements
- Prepare for work - Risk assessment
- Identifying appropriate equipment (harnesses and fall restraint systems etc.)
- Access and egress to the height
- Fall prevention methods
- Suspension trauma
- Supervision / Safety monitoring
- Perform work at heights
